Day 1: Marrakech to Dades Valley
Start your 3-day adventure by departing from Marrakech early in the morning. Your journey will take you through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, where you’ll have the chance to stop at several scenic viewpoints for breathtaking photos. Continue we will drive through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. Along the way, you’ll pass by Berber villages, each with its unique charm and culture. Enjoy a delicious lunch in the town of Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco” for its role in many famous films, In the afternoon, visit the impressive Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a prime example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture.
Continue your journey to the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad, hotel, or kasbah. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner and relax after a long day of travel.
Day 2: Dades Valley to Merzouga
After a leisurely breakfast, depart from the Dades Valley and head towards the Sahara Desert.
Along the way, you’ll pass through the Todra Gorges, known for their towering cliffs and spectacular canyons. Take a short hike in this stunning natural wonder.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of Moroccan cuisine.
Continue your drive to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, meet your camel caravan and embark on an unforgettable camel trek into the desert.
As the sun sets over the dunes, reach your desert camp deep in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, and spend the evening stargazing and listening to local music around a campfire. Spend the night in comfortable desert tents.
Day 3: Merzouga to Marrakech
Wake up early to witness the mesmerizing sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, ride your camels or car 4×4 back to Merzouga.
Continue your journey back to Marrakech, with a stop in the town of Rissani to explore its vibrant souks and market. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant along the way.
As you approach Marrakech, stop at the Draa Valley and its palm groves, offering another chance to experience the stunning natural beauty of Morocco.
Arrive back in Marrakech in the evening, where your 3-day tour concludes. You can either be dropped off at your accommodation or at a convenient location in the city.
